Reduce the duration of cold sore pain, burning, itching, and tingling with Abreva cold sore treatment cream — clinically proven to shorten the healing time of cold sore symptoms.

Abreva cold sore medication can reduce healing time to 4.1 days* when applied at the first sign of a cold sore — a tingle, bump, or itch.

Soothing on contact, Abreva with 10% docosanol penetrates deep into the skin to block the cold sore virus from entering skin cells and helps limit the HSV-1 cold sore virus from infecting surrounding skin cells.**

Canada’s #1 pharmacist recommended cold sore remedy, Abreva also received the 2020 BrandSpark Most Trusted Award for the sixth year in a row (in the Cold Sore Remedy category).

Both the tube and pump versions of Abreva cream use the same formula, and this 2-gram tube is perfect to use at home.

      Directions

Wash your hands thoroughly, and then apply the required amount of abreva to the tip of your finger or a cotton swab. abreva should then be rubbed in gently, but completely, into the area around your cold sore. Repeat this 5 times per day until the lesion is healed, up to a maximum of 10 days. Tube: Wash your hands again and avoid contaminating the tip of the tube after applying the cream to the cold sore. Place cap back on tube.
